Junior was a member of the VFW Post 121 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Junior was known for his soft-spoken words, kind heart and outgoing personality. ![]() He loved to play pool, golf, dominoes and poker. Junior was a legendary billiards player who participated in numerous World Championships and was inducted into the Texas Billiards Hall of Fame September 29, 1995. ![]() He and Dana Beth Flatt were married Novemin Oklahoma and have remained married for thirty-nine plus years. They were married until June 1975 and remained lifelong friends. He and Reba Centers were married Januin Henrietta and were blessed with four children, Tyler, Charles, David and Sherrie. He then was self-employed in the automotive parts industry until 1971 when he went into the oil field equipment business for Norris Equipment Company until his retirement in 1998. After his tour of duty, he returned to Wichita Falls and was employed at Mid Central Fish Company. He proudly served his county during World War II in the United States Navy. He attended Bowie Elementary, Reagan Junior High and Wichita Falls High School. James was born Jin Wichita Falls, Texas to the late David Carl Norris and Sadie Caroland Norris. Interment will follow in the Archer City Cemetery under the direction of Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City, Texas. Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Aulds Funeral Home of Archer City with Chad Stubblefield officiating. James Charles 'Junior' Norris, age 90, of Holliday, Texas gracefully passed into the arms of our Lord Wednesday night Maat his residence.
